A quiet tour of the Rideau from beautiful Merrickville photo by: Pat Watson      Glide quietly along the beautiful Rideau Waterway aboard the electric launch, the Harriet By. The 45 minute journey will take you through the Rideau Migratory Bird Sanctuary to the Osprey nest and then return to the Depot along the original channel of the Rideau River. To enhance the "Edwardian days" atmosphere, we offer the loan of a straw hat and your captain will gladly teach you the Royal Wave which can be used to greet passing boaters. Soft drinks and bottled water are available for sale on board. Fares: Adults $10.00 (plus PST) Seniors (60 plus) $ 8.00 (plus PST) Children under 12 $ 6.00 (plus PST) Trips are run between 11 am and 5 pm daily. We can accommodate up to seven passengers per trip.
